''The French Sex Murders'' (Italian: ''Casa d'appuntamento'' (Translation: ''House of Rendezvous'') is a 1972 giallo film directed by Ferdinando Merighi under the pseudonym "F. L. Morris", and edited by Bruno Mattei. It was released as ''The French Sex Murders'' in the US, and ''The Bogey Man and the French Murders'' in the UK. It stars Rosalba Neri, Anita Ekberg, Barbara Bouchet, Howard Vernon and Gordon Mitchell. The actor who played the police inspector in this film (Robert Sacchi) was a professional Humphrey Bogart lookalike, which explains the alternate "Bogey Man" title. Special effects technician Carlo Rambaldi handled the throat slashings and beheadings that take place in the movie. Dick Randall (producer)
Dick Randall (born Irving Reuben; March 3, 1926 – May 14, 1996) was an American film producer, screenwriter, actor and assistant director. He was known for his involvement in the production of exploitation films in Italy, Hong Kong, Spain, the Philippines and England, and his career covered a wide array of genres including mondo documentaries, erotica, giallo, martial arts and slasher films. Personal life A rotund cigar-smoker, Randall was born on March 3, 1926, in the Catskill Mountains, New York. Mike Monty
Mike Monty (October 23, 1936 – August 4, 2006) was an American character actor, born in 1936 in Chattanooga, Tennessee as Michael O'Donoghue but he changed his name to Mike Monty late in life. Career He left the United States for Italy in the early 1960s, where he started a modest film career as a supporting actor, appearing mostly in spaghetti westerns, sexploitation and horror. Many of his appearances were uncredited. Some were credited as Mike Monti, Michael Monty or Mike Monte. One of the more infamous films he acted in during the 70s was the Nazi-exploitation epic ''Achtung!
