The Five Fox Festival in Japan (stylized as THE FIVE FOX FESTIVAL in JAPAN) was a Japanese concert tour by Japanese band Babymetal. The tour ran from July 18, 2017 to October 15, 2017, taking place in Japan, commencing after the band returned from international touring where they were the opening acts for various bands from 2016 to 2017. Background After the conclusion of the Babymetal World Tour 2016: Legend Metal Resistance, the band supported Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Korn on their world tours as an opening act for several of their shows. On June 16, 2017, the band performed in a standalone headlining show in Los Angeles, to an audience of 4,000 people at The Palladium, where they debuted the live performance of the international exclusive song "From Dusk Till Dawn". Babymetal
(stylized in all caps) is a Japanese kawaii metal band consisting of Suzuka Nakamoto as "Su-metal" and Moa Kikuchi as "Moametal". The band is produced by Kobametal from the Amuse talent agency. Their vocals are backed by heavy metal instrumentation, performed by a group of session musicians known as the "Kami Band" at performances. The band was formed in 2010, with the original lineup of Su-metal (vocal and dance), Moametal (scream and dance), and Yui Mizuno as "Yuimetal" (scream and dance), with the concept of creating a fusion of the heavy metal and Japanese idol genres. Early life Takehiro Mamiya was born on September 25, 1989, when his parents were expecting a baby girl. He first learned to play the guitar in the sixth grade, by his father. , better known by his pseudonym Kobametal, is a Japanese music producer under the talent agency Amuse, Inc. He is best known as the producer of the kawaii metal group Babymetal. Biography Kobayashi's interest in heavy metal music started around his sixth grade in elementary school after listening to the band Seikima-II. He joined Amuse in 1996 and spent the early years of his career doing media promotion for visual kei bands such as Siam Shade and Cascade. is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Chūō-ku, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It opened preliminarily on May 5, 2000, and then was officially opened on September 1 of the same year.
