The First 4 men's lacrosse invitational was an annual college lacrosse event held in California with the feature event being a double-header involving four NCAA Division I men's lacrosse teams. The event is representative of the recent expansion of the sport far afield from its traditional strongholds of Maryland and New York. College Lacrosse
College lacrosse is played by student-athletes at colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. In both countries, men's field lacrosse and women's lacrosse are played at both the varsity and club levels. Loyola Greyhounds Men's Lacrosse
The Loyola Greyhounds men's lacrosse team represents Loyola University Maryland in NCAA Division I lacrosse. Its home matches are played at the Ridley Athletic Complex. Charley Toomey has served as its head coach since 2006. It became a member of the Patriot League along with the university's other intercollegiate athletic programs on July 1, 2013. Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. The Air Force Falcons are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the United States Air Force Academy, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Torero Stadium is a 6,000-seat multi-purpose stadium on the west coast of the United States, located on the campus of the University of San Diego in San Diego, California.
