''The Finzi Detective Agency'' ( it, Agenzia Riccardo Finzi... praticamente detective) is a 1979 Italian crime-comedy film written and directed by Bruno Corbucci and starring Renato Pozzetto. It is loosely based on the comic character Riccardo Finzi created by Max Bunker. Plot Riccardo Finzi is a private investigator who moves to Milan in search of fortune. On his first night in town he meets a mysterious girl named Susy, who is later found dead. Convinced of foul play, he and his assistant Giuseppe decide to investigate. In pop culture Investigator Riccardo Finzi, a supporter of football club A.C. Monza, declared in a sentence: "I support Monza, we will never be able to reach the Serie A". Bruno Corbucci
Bruno Corbucci (23 October 1931 – 7 September 1996) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. He was the younger brother of Sergio Corbucci, and wrote many of his films. He was born in Rome, where he also died. The vast majority of his directorial efforts are lowbrow comedies. He also directed ''I figli del leopardo'', a parody of ''Il gattopardo''. His biggest success came with the long-running "Nico Giraldi" series, which starred Tomas Milian as a foul-mouthed Roman policeman. His 1971 film '' Io non spezzo... rompo'' was shown as part of a retrospective on Italian comedy at the 67th Venice International Film Festival. Early life Lory Del Santo was born Loredana Del Santo on 28 September 1958, in Povegliano Veronese, a ''comune'' in the Italian region Veneto. Franco Caracciolo (29 March 1920 – 28 September 1999) was an Italian conductor. Life He was born in Bari in 1920. He studied piano and composing at the Conservatoire of S. Pietro a Majella in Naples, and conducting at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. Career He toured widely as a concert and opera conductor, was leading conductor of the Scarlatti Orchestra of Naples from 1949 to 1964 and became the permanent conductor of the Sinfonica di Milano Orchestra of Radiotelevisione Italiana. His repertory ranged from baroque to contemporary, including operas by Cherubini, Cimarosa, Haydn, Paisiello, and Scarlatti, and 20th century works by Darius Milhaud, Riccardo Malipiero, Nino Rota, and Gino Marinuzzi.
