The Final Night
''The Final Night'' is a 1996 comic book crossover storyline published by DC Comics that ran through a weekly self-titled limited series and a score of tie-in issues spanning most of DC's ongoing titles in the month of September 1996 (cover-dated November 1996). It featured the Justice League of America, several members of the Legion of Super-Heroes and more than two dozen allied heroes, villains and scientists of the DC Universe banding together in the face of global calamity when an extraterrestrial entity called the Sun-Eater envelopes and extinguishes the Sun, causing Earth to freeze and wither into ecological collapse. Unlike other crossover events published by DC, the conflict of ''The Final Night'' did not revolve around a conventional villain. Stuart Immonen () is a Canadians, Canadian comics artist. He is best known for his work on ''Nextwave'', ''Ultimate X-Men'', ''The New Avengers (comics), The New Avengers'', ''The Amazing Spider-Man'', and ''Ultimate Spider-Man''. Penciler, His pencils are usually inked by Wade Von Grawbadger. Early life Stuart Immonen grew up in a Finnish Canadians, Finnish Canadian family in Canada. The first comics he read as a child were Disney comics and Harvey Comics. He would later seek out superhero comics from Marvel Comics. Sporadic distribution in the 1970s and 1980s led to the development of an eclectic sense of taste in titles, as he was often only able to find a few issues available per series. A later increase in self-publishing in Toronto spurred him to pursue a career in comics following his studies at university. Parallax is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Publication history Created by writer Ron Marz and artist Darryl Banks for ''Green Lantern'' vol. 3 #48 (January 1994), Parallax was originally devised as the new supervillain identity for then-former Green Lantern protagonist Hal Jordan.
