"The Fighter" is a song by American rap rock band Gym Class Heroes, from their fifth studio album ''The Papercut Chronicles II''. The song features vocals from American singer-songwriter and record producer Ryan Tedder of the band OneRepublic, and was released as the third and final single from the album on November 8, 2011. It was featured in the season finale of '' 90210'' season 4 and the Cathay Pacific television commercial for the 2013 Hong Kong Sevens, as well as the background music of the introduction video of ''F1 2014''. Gym Class Heroes was an American rap rock band from Geneva, New York. The group formed in 1997 when Travie McCoy met drummer Matt McGinley during their high school gym class. The band's music displays a wide variety of influences, including hip hop, rock, funk, and reggae. After the addition of guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo and bassist Eric Roberts in 2003, the group was signed to Fueled by Ramen and Decaydance Records (Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz's independent record label), on which they released their debut album, ''The Papercut Chronicles''. Paradise Fears is an American alternative rock band from Vermillion, South Dakota. The band has been touring and releasing music independently since 2011. Their 2013 album, ''Battle Scars'', peaked at #2 on the iTunes Alternative chart. History Forming as a group of high school friends playing cover songs for school talent shows in the small town of Vermillion, South Dakota, the members of Paradise Fears began by deferring college admission for a year in 2010, instead working full-time jobs to raise money to record their debut album, ''Yours Truly'', with Zack Odom, Kenneth Mount, and Jordan Schmidt. John Orozco
John Orozco (born December 30, 1992) is an American artistic gymnast who competed in the 2012 Olympics and is the 2012 U.S national champion. He was selected to the U.S. Olympic gymnastics team for the 2016 Olympic Games, but withdrew on July 15, 2016 due to an ACL injury. After graduating High School at 17, John trained for 7 years at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2020, he switched his affiliation to Puerto Rico for international competitions. Early years Orozco was born in the Bronx, New York, and is the son of Puerto Rican parents.
