''The Ferret'' is a long-running consumer affairs television programme that is broadcast on ITV Cymru Wales. The programme was first broadcast in 1996 on HTV Wales. ITV Wales & West
ITV Wales and West, previously known as Harlech Television (HTV), was an ITV franchise area in the United Kingdom until 31 December 2013, licensed to a broadcaster by the regulator Ofcom. There is no channel, past or present, named "ITV Wales and West". The licence relates to a "dual region", meaning that the franchise area was divided into two sub-regions, Wales and the West of England, each of which had to be served by distinct and separate ITV programme services, as more fully defined within the licence. Chris Segar
Chris Segar is a Welsh television presenter best known for presenting the consumer affairs programme '' The Ferret'' since 1996. Career Chris Segar started his career as a daily newspaper reporter and from 1963 (maybe) worked for Radio Clwyd and BBC Wales before moving to ITV Wales, where he has specialised in presenting current affairs programmes such as ''Wales This Week'' and ''The Ferret''. Ruth Elizabeth Dodsworth (born 21 May 1975) is a British broadcaster, journalist and weather presenter, best known for her work at ITV Cymru Wales. Career Dodsworth began her career in radio, working as a researcher for BBC Radio Wales in the mid 1990s.
