Luis Llosa Urquidi (born 1951) is a Peruvian film director. He is best known for ''Sniper (1993 film), Sniper'', ''The Specialist'', and ''Anaconda (film), Anaconda''. Career Luis Llosa was originally a film critic. He is known for his early Peruvian work, English-language exploitation films made for producer Roger Corman, and bigger-budget American films. His best-known film, ''Anaconda (film), Anaconda'', stars Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, and Eric Stoltz. ''Anaconda'' was nominated for multiple Razzie Awards, including worst director, but grossed $136 million worldwide and became a cult film. Murphy Guyer (born December 25, 1952) is an American actor, playwright, writer and director, best known for his plays and for appearances in the films '' The Devil's Advocate'' (1997), '' The Jackal'' (1997), ''Arthur'' (2011) and '' Joker'' (2019). Jesús (de) Galíndez Suárez (October 12, 1915 – disappeared March 12, 1956) was a Spanish politician, writer and Columbia University international law professor of Basque nationalist ideology who disappeared in New York City. He was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by intelligence operatives of the Servicio de Inteligencia Militar, based on a direct order from Rafael Trujillo, the caudillo of the Dominican Republic. Antonio De La Maza
Antonio de la Maza (May 24, 1912 – June 4, 1961) was a Dominican businessman based in Santo Domingo. He was an opponent of Rafael Trujillo, and was one of the principal conspirators in the assassination of the aforementioned dictator which took place on May 30, 1961. Life De la Maza was born in Moca, Espaillat. His family had ties to Horacio Vásquez who was ousted by Trujillo when he started his reign in 1930. After attending the Corps of Military Aides, De la Maza became manager of a Trujillo-owned sawmill near Restauracion. In the context of the 1956 Galindez case his brother Octavio was used as a scapegoat by Trujillo's henchmen; he was presented to the American Government as the murderer of Gerry Murphy and killed.
