The Explorers Club (band)
The Explorers Club are an American pop rock band originally from the coast of South Carolina, United States. They feature a rotating cast of musicians led by Jason Brewer, whose debut album was released by Dead Oceans. The music of their first album is heavily influenced by the vocal harmony styles and production of The Beach Boys. They are also influenced by classic rock and roll arrangements as made popular by The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Phil Spector, The Zombies, The Monkees and The Byrds. Their second album shows more influences of soft-pop artists of the early-1970s such as Burt Bacharach, Glen Campbell, etc. The band relocated to Nashville, Tenn. in 2014 and released their third studio album 'Together' on 24 June 2016. Burger Records was an American independent record label and record store in Fullerton, California, United States. The label was founded in 2007 by Sean Bohrman and Lee Rickard, members of the power pop band Thee Makeout Party. The record/video store, co-owned by Bohrman and Brian Flores, was opened in 2009. The label ceased operations in July 2020, following sexual assault allegations levied at many of their artists and staff members. The label was notable for releasing most of its material on cassette. WFMU is a listener-supported, independent community radio station, licensed to East Orange, New Jersey. Nelson Bragg (born August 14, 1961) is an American percussionist, vocalist and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Biography Nelson Bragg was born in Dover, New Hampshire on August 14, 1961. He played in several bands from 1979 to 1999, including positions as a pit drummer for more than twenty stage musicals.
