Gladys Cooper
Dame Gladys Constance Cooper, (18 December 1888 – 17 November 1971) was an English actress, theatrical manager and producer, whose career spanned seven decades on stage, in films and on television. Beginning as a teenager in Edwardian musical comedy and pantomime, she starred in dramatic roles and silent films before the First World War. She managed the Playhouse Theatre from 1917 to 1934, where she starred in many roles. From the early 1920s Cooper won praise in plays by W. Somerset Maugham and others. In the 1930s she starred steadily in productions both in London's West End and on Broadway. Moving to Hollywood in 1940, Cooper found success in a variety of character roles. She received three Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress, for performances in '' The Song of Bernadette'' (1943), ''My Fair Lady'' (1964) and, most famously, ''Now, Voyager'' (1942). Ralph Waldo Ince (January 16, 1887 – April 10, 1937) was an American pioneer film actor, director and screenwriter whose career began near the dawn of the silent film era. Ralph Ince was the brother of John E. Ince and Thomas H. Ince. Biography Ralph Ince was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the younger of three sons and a daughter raised by English immigrants, John and Emma Ince. Sometime after his birth Ince moved to Manhattan where his entire family was engaged in theater work; his father as a musical agent and mother, sister Bertha and brothers, John and Thomas as actors. ''Sword of Gideon'' is a 1986 Canadian television film about Mossad agents hunting down terrorists associated with the 1972 Munich massacre. It was first shown on the CTV Television Network in Canada as a four-hour miniseries and later on HBO in the United States. Paul Leder (March 25, 1926 – April 9, 1996) was an American film director, writer and producer. He is most famous today for his films ''A*P*E'' and ''I Dismember Mama''. With wife Etyl Leder, he is the father of modern-day producer and director Mimi Leder, writer Reuben Leder, and casting director Geraldine Leder. Paul Leder died of lung cancer on April 8, 1996, at age 70. Early career Leder launched his career singing through radio on ''The Goldbergs (broadcast series), The Molly Goldberg Show''. During World War II, Leder was an Army medic who served under George Patton and assisted the survivors of the Buchenwald concentration camp. ''Body Count'' ( it, Camping del terrore) is a 1986 Italian slasher film directed by Ruggero Deodato. The film is about a group of vacationing teenagers who enter an abandoned camp site that was formerly an Indian burial ground. One by one, the kids begin to be killed off.
