Aathal Dinosaur Museum
The Aathal Dinosaur Museum (Swiss German native name: Sauriermuseum Aathal) is a paleontological museum in the locality '' Aathal'' of the municipality of Seegräben in the canton of Zürich, Switzerland, and one of the few dinosaur museums in Europe. History Hans-Jakob Siber, a mineral and fossil dealer, started in 1977 to exhibit temporarily a fossilized giant turtle from four and a half meters in length at his annual special show in Aathal, and was featuring the eight-meter-long skeleton of an '' Edmontosaurus'' four years later. In 1992 the collection was expanded and in 1993 the ''Sauriermuseum Aathal'' in the current building was opened. The family-owned company ''Siber + Siber'' supported the funding of the further activities. The Dinosaur Museum is a museum presenting dinosaurs in Dorchester, the county town of Dorset, in southern England. The Dinosaur Museum is the only museum in mainland Britain dedicated purely to dinosaurs. The museum is not far from the Jurassic Coast to the south, a World Heritage Site. Dinosaur Walk Museum was a series of attractions that feature life-size sculptures of dinosaurs and replicas of fossils. Branches of the museum were located in Riverhead, New York and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The location in Branson, Missouri closed and relocated, and is now known as Branson Dinosaur Museum. Dinosauria is a museum devoted to dinosaurs in Espéraza, Aude, a ''département'' of southern France. Opened in 1992, it is directed by the association which created it, which is also named ''Dinosauria''. Lufeng Dinosaur Museum
The Lufeng Dinosaur Museum is located in Jingshan ("Golden Hill"), Lufeng County, Yunnan Province, China. Lufeng is the site of numerous Jurassic dinosaur discoveries, first found there in 1938. Most well known is Lufengosaurus, a Jurassic prosauropod. More recently, teeth and a skull of Ramapithecus, a Miocene period primate related to the orangutan, have been found in Lufeng.
