The Dillinger Escape Plan Members
The Dillinger Escape Plan (DEP) was an American metalcore band from Morris Plains, New Jersey. Formed in early 1997, the group originally featured vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, lead guitarist Ben Weinman, rhythm guitarist Derek Brantley, bassist and keyboardist Adam Doll, and drummer and keyboardist Chris Pennie. The group remained active until December 2017, at which point the lineup featured Weinman (the band's only constant member), bassist Liam Wilson (who replaced Doll in 2000), vocalist Greg Puciato (who replaced Minakakis in 2001), drummer Billy Rymer (who joined in 2009) and rhythm guitarist Kevin Antreassian (who joined in 2015). DEP evolved from an earlier hardcore punk group called Arcane in March 1997, and originally featured Minakakis, Weinman, Brantley, Doll and Pennie. Brantley left after just two shows, failing to turn up for the group's first recording sessions. The Dillinger Escape Plan
The Dillinger Escape Plan was an American metalcore band. The band was formed in 1997 in Morris Plains, New Jersey by guitarist Ben Weinman, bassist Adam Doll, vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, and drummer Chris Pennie. The band's use of odd time signatures, polyrhythms and unconventional drum patterns became a staple of their sound, although later albums incorporated more melody, and influences from a range of genres. Recorded at Trax East Recording Studio in South River, New Jersey, it was produced by engineer Steve Evetts with the band's guitarist Ben Weinman and drummer Chris Pennie, and released on September 28, 1999 by Relapse Records. Jeff Tuttle
Jeff Tuttle is an American musician and filmmaker, best known as the former guitarist and backing vocalist of the mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan, for which he played from 2007 to 2012. He is noted for his energetic live performances. Biography Jeff Tuttle grew up in Flat Rock, Michigan and started going to punk shows in the mid-1990s. He played in several bands, including Capture the Flag (Go Kart, Conquer the World, Happy Guy Records), Hyatt, Holocaust and Heads Will Roll, with whom he toured along with The Dillinger Escape Plan. ''Plagiarism'' is an EP by American mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan, released on the iTunes Music Store on June 13, 2006. The title is a reference to the fact that four of the EP's six tracks are covers faithful to the original songs. "Like I Love You" was first performed with Mike Patton on New Year's Eve 2002. The version on the EP, however, is a studio version with Greg Puciato on vocals. "Wish" has been performed occasionally by the band, and the band was asked to join Nine Inch Nails to perform the track during two shows of the 2009 Soundwave Festival, as well as during the final performance of the Wave Goodbye Tour on September 10, 2009 at the Wiltern Theatre. James Love (musician)
James Love is a Canadian guitarist from British Columbia. From 2010 to 2016, he was a member of the Canadian new wave/synthpop band Men Without Hats. Musical career A graduate of the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery, Love toured as a guitar technician in the road crew of Fenix TX, a Houston pop punk band. He joined the group as a full member in early 2001, replacing Damon DeLaPaz as guitarist after the departure of drummer Donnie Reyes caused DeLaPaz to move to drums. Love played on the band's final studio album, '' Lechuza'', released in May 2001, and after a concert tour, he left the group later the same year. From 2004 to 2006, Love toured with the Dillinger Escape Plan, and became a member of that band in 2013. Love was also in a Houston-based heavy metal band called Torches of Fury, with whom he recorded the group's self-titled 2006 EP. ''Miss Machine'' is the second studio album by American mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan released in July 2004 through Relapse Records. It is the first release by the band to feature vocalist Greg Puciato and bassist Liam Wilson. ''Miss Machine'' marks a change to a more experimental style by the band. The album is The Dillinger Escape Plan's first album since 1999, the gap between albums being accredited to a number of bad fortunes, and a short EP release with lead vocals being performed by Mike Patton.
