''The Die Is Cast'' (Swedish: ''Tarningen ar kastad'') is a 1960 Swedish mystery thriller film directed by Rolf Husberg and starring Åke Falck, Anita Björk and Sven Lindberg.Qvist & Von Bagh p.54 It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Jan Boleslaw. Jan Wilhelm Malmsjö (born 29 May 1932) is a Swedish stage and film actor, musical star and singer. He is married to Marie Göranzon and father to Jonas Malmsjö. Biography Malmsjö was born in Lund, Sweden. He trained at the prestigious Royal Dramatic Training Academy from 1950 to 1953 and one of his first parts on the national stage was as Paris in Shakespeare's ''Romeo and Juliet'' (1953). Johan Allan Edwall (25 August 1924 – 7 February 1997) was a Swedish actor, director, author, composer and singer, best-known outside Sweden for the small roles he played in some of Ingmar Bergman's films, such as ''Fanny and Alexander'' (1982). He found his largest audience in the Scandinavian countries for playing lovable characters in several of the film and TV adaptations of the children's stories by Astrid Lindgren.
