The Dead Come Home
''Dead Dudes in the House'' (also known as ''The Dead Come Home'' or ''The House on Tombstone Hill'') is a 1989 independent horror film written and directed by James Riffel and distributed by Troma Entertainment. The film follows a group of teenagers who travel up to a dilapidated house for some fixing up. ''Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead'' is a series of parody films written by James Riffel as spoofs adding his own scripts on already known films and television footage after deleting the original scripts from the films. Part 1 Part 1 remains obscure and as yet unreleased, as it was created at a public access station where Riffel took several student films he had made at New York University, some video footage, super 8 home movies, and other materials, and edited them in a few days. It was never released and is, according to Riffel, "back at isparents' house at the bottom of one of the closets". Cellulose acetate film, or safety film, is used in photography as a base material for photographic emulsions. It was introduced in the early 20th century by film manufacturers and intended as a safe film base replacement for unstable and highly flammable nitrate film. Troma Entertainment is an American independent film production and distribution company founded by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz in 1974.
