The Dance Party is an American pop rock band from Washington, DC. History Formation, EP, ''Friction! Friction Friction!'' The Dance Party was formed in 2005 in College Park, Maryland by vocalist Mick Coogan, guitarist Kevin Bayly, drummer Jeff David, and bassist Danny Hoag, and soon released their first EP, ''The Dance Party EP.'' ''Tigers'' is a 5-song EP released by the Washington, DC Rock music, rock band The Dance Party. It was initially intended to be released on July 14, 2009; however, only a limited number of EP's were pressed and were made available only at live shows due to contractual obligations with Atlantic Records. The Dance Party announced on November 14, 2011 that a full, ten-song version of Tigers would be released on December 23, 2011. Tigers was produced and mixed by Andros Rodriguez. Cascine is an independent record label based in New York City. Its focus is alternative pop and electronic music. Cascine was formed in September 2010 and is owned by Jeff Bratton. Key artists include Yumi Zouma, Half Waif, Chad Valley, Maria Usbeck, and Erika Spring among others. More recently, Sui Zhen, Banoffee, Konradsen and Michael David (Classixx) were added to the roster. Cascine also operates CSCN, a digital singles sublabel, and a management company named Gallerie. The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. Although Vans continued as main sponsor and lent its name to the festival, other sponsors also participated, with stages or other aspects of the festival being named after them on occasion.
