The Cycling Podcast
''The Cycling Podcast'' is an independent sports audio production created by Richard Moore (journalist), Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie, and Daniel Friebe. Launched in 2013, weekly, hour-long episodes provide insight, analysis and often irreverent take on professional road bicycle racing, road cycling. Each episode features interviews with different professional cyclists, team staff and other actors from across the sport. Increased coverage is provided at the Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tours (the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta a España) where daily episodes are recorded at the end of each stage. It is also published by the UK broadsheet newspaper, ''The Daily Telegraph, The Telegraph''. Richard Moore (journalist)
Richard Moore (7 May 1973 – 28 March 2022) was a Scottish journalist, author, podcaster, and racing cyclist. Biography Moore represented Great Britain at the Tour of Langkawi and Scotland at the PruTour and the 1998 Commonwealth Games, where he competed in the road race and the time trial. He was one of the most established cycling journalists around in his day. Moore has contributed to '' Rouleur Magazine'', ''Scotland on Sunday'', '' The Herald'', ''Sunday Herald'', ''The Guardian'', ''Sunday Times'', and ''The Scotsman''. His first book was a biography of the cyclist Robert Millar; ''In Search of Robert Millar'' won the "Best Biography" category at the 2008 British Sports Book Awards. Eurosport
Eurosport is a group of pay television networks in Europe and parts of Asia. Owned by Warner Bros. Discovery through Warner Bros. Discovery Sports#Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe properties, its international sports unit, it operates two main channels—Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2—across most of its territories, and streams on Discovery+, which superseded Eurosport Player. iwoca Ltd. () is an online Fintech company based in London. It offers credit facilities to small businesses trading in the UK and Germany via an automated lending platform. CEO Christoph Rieche and CTO James Dear founded iwoca in October 2011 and the company started trading in March 2012. They aimed to offer custom-built loans to small businesses, who usually struggled with fair access to finance from big banks. Prix Jacques Goddet
Prix was an American power pop band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1975 by Tommy Hoehn and Jon Tiven. The group ended up primarily as a studio project. Its recordings were produced by Tiven along with former Big Star member Chris Bell, who also played guitar and sang backup vocals. Prix is also famous of Banjo playing. Alex Chilton also participated in the recordings, along with session drummer Hilly Michaels. Although the group generated some major record label interest—notably from Mercury Records and Columbia/CBS Records—it ultimately only released a double A-side single on Ork Records in 1977 and a single on Miracle Records in 1978. Its only live performance came at a CBS Records showcase in 1976. In 1977, just as Ork Records released the first single and booked the group at CBGB, Prix broke up due both to Hoehn's unwillingness to remain in New York and to creative differences. Mitchell Docker (born 2 October 1986) is an Australian former road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2006 to 2021. ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936). Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on Road surface, paved roads.
