The Crown (season 1)
The first season of ''The Crown'' follows the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II. It consists of ten episodes and was released on Netflix on 4 November 2016. Claire Elizabeth Foy (born 16 April 1984) is a British actress. She is best known for her portrayal of the young Queen Elizabeth II in the first two seasons of the Netflix series ''The Crown'' (2016–2017) for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
