William Worthington (actor)
William Worthington (April 8, 1872 in Troy, New York – April 9, 1941 in Beverly Hills, California) was an American silent film actor and director. Career Worthington became interested in the performing arts when he began his career as an opera singer and stage actor. He entered films with a lead role in 1913, and one of his more notable films was Damon and Pythias in 1914. From 1917 to 1925, William concentrated on directing films and was the head of a film production firm called Multicolor, which was bought by Cinecolor in 1932. He was active in films up until his death in 1941. Toyo Fujita
Toyo Fujita (16 July 1893 – 25 July 1959) was a Japanese actor who worked in Hollywood from the late 1910s through the mid-1930s. Biography Toyo earned a reputation as a talented actor on the stage in Japan, and later moved to the United States, where he appeared in theatrical productions in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He later settled down in Los Angeles, where he owned and operated a theater in the city's Little Tokyo neighborhood. Apparently this is where he met Sessue Hayakawa, an actor he often worked with in Hollywood films. He told reporters he was fond of reading about pirates. Francis McDonald
Francis McDonald (August 22, 1891 – September 18, 1968) was an American actor whose career spanned 52 years. Early years Born on August 22, 1891, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, McDonald was the son of John Francis McDonald and Catherine Ashlue McDonald. He was educated at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Stage and film McDonald's started acting professionally in stock theater with the Forepaugh Stock Company in Cincinnati. Following eight months with it, he worked one season with a stock company in Seattle, after which he performed for three seasons with a troupe in San Diego and Honolulu. He concluded his tenure in stock theater as juvenile leading man with the American Stock Company in Spokane, Washington. By 1913 McDonald began to perform in the rapidly expanding film industry, initially working for Marion Leonard's Monopole Company in Hollywood. George Hernandez
George Hernandez I (June 6, 1863 – December 31, 1922) was an American silent film actor. Hernandez was born , in Placerville, California. From late 1897 through May 1899, Hernandez was a traveling Shakespearean actor with the Janet Waldorf Company, appearing in '' As You Like It'' and '' Romeo and Juliet''. Hernandez was a member of the William Nicholas Selig stock company, which pioneered filmmaking in Southern California. Later, he supported actress Myrtle Gonzalez in a series of popular outdoor adventures. Hernandez married Anna Dodge. He died in Los Angelese in 1922 due to complications after surgery.
