''Ornithological Applications'', formerly ''The Condor'' and ''The Condor: Ornithological Applications'', is a peer-reviewed quarterly scientific journal covering ornithology. It is an official journal of the American Ornithological Society. History The journal was first published in 1899 as the ''Bulletin of the Cooper Ornithological Club'' by a group of biologists in California. The journal's scope was regional, covering the western United States. In 1900, the name was changed to ''The Condor''. Washington State University (Washington State, WSU, or informally Wazzu) is a public land-grant research university with its flagship, and oldest, campus in Pullman, Washington. ''Ornithology'', formerly ''The Auk'' and ''The Auk: Ornithological Advances'', is a peer-reviewed scientific journal and the official publication of the American Ornithological Society (AOS).
