The Comet Strikes
''The Comet Strikes'' () is a 1971 Hong Kong action horror film directed by Lo Wei for Golden Harvest. Plot During a time of strife in his court, a king and some loyal ministers hide in an old house rumored to be haunted, its previous tenants, Mr. and Mrs. Tse, having supposedly died there mysteriously. Their son, Tse Tin Jun, also travels to the house to find out the truth about his parents’ death. When one of the ministers behind the revolt discovers the king's hiding place, he sends a military force to kill the king. It is revealed that Mr. and Mrs. Tse staged their deaths to deceive the public and they, along with their son, stand with the king and his party to fight against the rebels. Lo Wei
Lo Wei ( 12 December 1918 – 20 January 1996) was a Hong Kong film director and film actor best known for launching the martial arts film careers of both Bruce Lee, in ''The Big Boss'' and ''Fist of Fury'', and Jackie Chan, in ''New Fist of Fury''. Career Lo began his entertainment career as an actor in the Second World War. He moved to Hong Kong in 1948. During the 1950's Lo became a popular matinee idol. After Lee's death it was Lo who gave Jackie Chan his first shot at the big time as part of the wave of Bruceploitation. Lo is said to have been linked with Chinese organized crime, the Triads. Lo ran the production company "Lo Wei Motion Picture Company", which operated until 1977-78 due to heavy cost-cutting measures as a result of Jackie Chan signing a deal with Golden Harvest. Lee Kwan
Lee Kwan or Li Kun (18 February 1930 – 12 March 2008) was a Chinese actor. He joined Shaw Brothers in 1957 and acted in Mandarin films. He later played supporting roles in Bruce Lee's ''The Big Boss'' and ''Fist of Fury''. Later he became a film and television actor in Taiwan. Eddy Ko
Eddy Ko Hung (; born Ho Yiu-sum ; 1947) is a Hong Kong television and film actor who has worked on the TV stations RTV, ATV (both now defunct), and TVB. Most recently, he has made appearances in several international films including 2015's ''The Martian''. Background Ko was born Ho Yiu-sum in Zhongshan in 1947. He started his career in 1968 at the Shaw Brothers Studio and adopted the name Ko Hung as a stage name. Ko joined TVB later and has since acted in many TV drama series. Tony Liu Tian-jue (born 7 February 1952) is a Hong Kong actor and martial artist. He is often credited by his Cantonese stage name Lau Wing.
