The Choir is an atmospheric Christian alternative rock band currently comprising Derri Daugherty on guitar and vocals, Steve Hindalong on drums, and Dan Michaels on saxophone and lyricon. Long-time bassist Tim Chandler died in 2018, and guitarist Marc Byrd was the fifth member of the band between 2005–2014. As of 2022, the band has released 16 full-length studio albums, three EPs, five live albums, one single-disc compilation, one retrospective box set, and is still actively recording new material. The Choir (garage Rock)
The Choir was a garage rock band largely active in the greater Cleveland area from the mid-1960s into the early 1970s. Originally called The Mods, their largest commercial success came with the release of their first single "It's Cold Outside" in December 1966. The song, considered to be a classic of the garage rock era, was featured on ''Pebbles, Volume 2'', one of the earlier garage rock compilation LPs (issued in 1979). The flipside, "I'm Going Home" was included as a bonus track when the Pebbles album was reissued as a CD, and it can also be found on a garage rock compilation LP on Ohio bands, ''Highs in the Mid-Sixties, Volume 9''. ''The Choir'' is a retrospective EP by The Choir that has been released only in 7" format. The cover features the same photograph as '' Choir Practice'', although it has been cropped and is much grainier. There are actually five songs on the record, even though the cover says that there are only four. Release data The record was released in 1976 by Bomp! Records (catalogue number BOMP-104) as a 7" 45-rpm EP. Notes on the tracks This was the first album or EP that included any songs by The Choir. Her novel ''Parson Harding's Daughter'' won in 1980 the Romantic Novel of the Year Award by the Romantic Novelists' Association. Anthony Way
Anthony Way (born 14 December 1982) is an English chorister and classical singer, who rose to fame after appearing as a chorister in a BBC TV series. He has since had success as a recording artist, with gold and platinum discs to his credit. Biography Way was born in London, England, and was a chorister by the age of eight. He is the sixth child out of eight siblings. His mother (Eileen Way) was a housewife. His father (Garry Way) worked as an officer at Wormwood Scrubs Prison. In 1990, the prison chaplain, the Rev.
