Jack Brammal, born John George Brammal, was an actor on stage and screen in the United States. He was born in England. In 1909 he was in a Shubert production. Ruth King (actress)
Ruth King (1898–1946) was an American film actress of the silent era. She played a mixture of lead and supporting roles including starring in several Essanay Studios films directed by W.S. Van Dyke. King was married to actor Tom Forman. They were divorced in 1917. She later married Ward Hamilton. In 1928, King was sued for $200,000 for alienation of affections. Verda Sherwood charged that her husband, George Sherwood, "had become infatuated with Miss King". William Fox (producer)
Wilhelm Fried Fuchs ( hu, Fried Vilmos; January 1, 1879 – May 8, 1952), commonly and better known as William Fox, was a Hungarian-American film industry executive who founded the Fox Film Corporation in 1915 and the Fox West Coast Theatres chain in the 1920s. Although he lost control of his film businesses in 1930, his name was used by 20th Century Fox (now ''20th Century Studios'') and continues to be used in the trademarks of the present-day Fox Corporation, including the Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox News, Fox Sports and Foxtel. Early life Fox was born in Tolcsva, Hungary, and originally named Wilhelm Fried Fuchs. His parents, Michael Fuchs and Anna Fried, were both Hungarian Jews.
