''The Charm Beneath'' (Traditional Chinese: 胭脂水粉) is a TVB period drama series broadcast in October 2005. The series was shown to celebrate TVB's 38th Anniversary. Sheren Tang and Bobby Au-Yeung were originally cast in this series instead of Gigi Lai and Moses Chan when the teaser trailer premiered in the TVB sales presentation in 2005. Moses Chan
Moses Chan Ho (born 16 April 1971) is an actor from Hong Kong. Career and personal life Chan lived and studied in Australia (Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney) for 10 years prior to returning to Hong Kong to embark on his acting career. Fred Cheng
Frederick "Fred" Cheng (; born 10 November 1983) is a Canadian-born Hong Kong musician and actor. He rose to fame after competing and winning the 2013 Hong Kong singing competition, Voice of the Stars''.'' He is currently signed to TVB management. Early life and Career Cheng was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Upon graduating from Eric Hamber Secondary School, he returned to Hong Kong. In 2001, Cheng's mother persuaded him to compete in the TVB New Talent Singing Awards, in which he won second place. Cheng was offered a contract to the record company Capital Artists, but after two months of training, the company stopped producing music. Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is a television broadcasting company based in Hong Kong SAR. The Company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. Ngo Ka-nin (, born 26 September 1976) is a Hong Kong actor, singer and host. Career Ngo debuted as a radio DJ before he got into acting. He has also been one of the hosts for the entertainment news show, E-Buzz, since 2005 to 2007.
