John Wood (actor, Born 1946)
John Wood (born 14 July 1946) is an Australian television Gold Logie Award-winning actor and scriptwriter. Wood has appeared in numerous theatre and TV productions, but is best known for his roles in the legal drama ''Rafferty's Rules'' as Stipendiary Magistrate Michael Rafferty and in the long-running police drama ''Blue Heelers'', as Tom Croydon both for the Seven Network. Peter John de Savary (11 July 1944 – 30 October 2022) was a British businessman. The bulk of his business career was spent in the shipping, oil and property sectors. He once owned or managed 13 shipyards around the globe and had global oil-trading and refuelling businesses. He was the Chairman of Millwall F.C.. Raymond Charles Barrett (2 May 19278 September 2009) was an Australian actor. During the 1960s, he was a leading actor on British television, where he was best known for his appearances in ''The Troubleshooters'' (1965–1971). From the 1970s, he appeared in lead and character roles in Australian films and TV series. Early life Barrett was born in Brisbane, Queensland and was educated at Windsor State Primary School and at Brisbane State High School. Dennis Walter Conner (born September 16, 1942) is an American yachtsman. He is noted for winning a bronze medal at the 1976 Olympics, two Star World Championships, and three wins in the America's Cup. Sailing career Conner was born September 16, 1942, in San Diego. He competed in the 1976 Olympics together with Conn Findlay and took the bronze medal in the Tempest class.
