The Cesarians
The Cesarians are an English, London-based group, consisting of singer Charlie Finke, pianist Justine Armatage, drummer Jan Noble and an all-woman wind section. Their eponymous debut album, '' Cesarians 1'', was recorded at Abbey Road studios and produced by Craig Leon. In 2007 they opened for The Last Drive at the Indie Rocket Festival in Pescara, Italy and have since toured extensively throughout Europe, playing, most notably, at the Admiralspalast in Berlin and at the Donaufestival in Austria in 2009. In April 2010, they supported Adam Ant at his notorious comeback gig at the Scala, and in June they performed alongside Martin Creed at London's ICA. Stoke Newington is an area occupying the north-west part of the London Borough of Hackney in north-east London, England. It is northeast of Charing Cross. The Last Drive
The Last Drive is a Greek punk garage rock group, which was formed in 1983, broke up in 1995, and reunited in January 2007. History 1983-1987: The beginnings The Last Drive started playing under the name "Last Drive" in late 1983 and their first performance was at the "Rodeo club" on December 27th, 1983. They adopted the name "Last Drive" after noticing a cocktail by that name at a bar menu. During 1984, Yiorgos Karanikolas was added on lead guitar. The group was basically playing garage rock mixed with rockabilly and surf rock. They started playing in underground joints of that time, while some band members played with Blue Light (group) at their first live performance at Pegasus club. In 1985 they released their first record, the 7" single ''Midnite Hop'', which now is the most sought-after record by collectors in Greece. Institute Of Contemporary Arts
The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) is an artistic and cultural centre on The Mall in London, just off Trafalgar Square. Located within Nash House, part of Carlton House Terrace, near the Duke of York Steps and Admiralty Arch, the ICA contains galleries, a theatre, two cinemas, a bookshop and a bar. Stuart Leslie Goddard, better known as Adam Ant (born 3 November 1954), is an English singer, musician, and actor. The Admiralspalast (German for ''admiral palace'') is a 1,756-seat theatre on Friedrichstraße in the Mitte district of Berlin, Germany. Opened in 1910, it is one of the few preserved variety venues of the pre-World War II era in the city.
