The CEO
''The CEO'' is a 2016 Nigerian film directed by Kunle Afolayan, starring Kemi Lala Akindoju, Hilda Dokubo, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Angélique Kidjo and Wale Ojo. The film premiered at the Eko Hotels and Suites on July 10, 2016. The film was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. The London premiere was held in October 2016 at Leicester Square Vue Cinema. Kunle Afolayan
Kunle Afolayan (born 30 September 1975) is a Nigerian actor, producer and director. He is widely credited for elevating the quality of Nollywood movies though larger budgets, shooting on 35mm, releasing in cinemas, and improving cliché Nollywood storylines. After starting his film career as an actor in the 1999 political drama '' Saworoide'', Afoloayan made his directorial debut in 2006 with '' Irapada'', a Nigerian supernatural thriller, which won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Film in an African Language. Kemi "Lala" Akindoju is a Nigerian actress. She won an Africa Magic trailbrailzer award for her role in the film adaptation of ''Dazzling Mirage''. Personal life Akindoju was born on 8 March 1987 in a family of 4 children. She's a native of Ondo State. She had her secondary education at Queens College, Lagos. After obtaining her West African Examinations Council examination, She proceeded to study insurance at University of Lagos. She also received a master's degree from Pan-Atlantic University, studying media and communication. She married Chef Fregz in September 2018 and had a son in February 2021. Hilda Dokubo is a Nigerian award-winning film actress, activist and youth advocate who once served as special adviser on youth affairs to Peter Odili, a former governor of Rivers State. Early life and education Hilda Dokubo was born as the first of six children in Buguma, a town in Asari-Toru, Rivers State where she went on to complete her primary and secondary school education at St Mary State School Aggrey Road and Government Girls Secondary School respectively.
