The Brothers O'Toole
''The Brothers O'Toole'' is a 1973 comedy Western film starring John Astin, Pat Carroll, and Lee Meriwether. The film was Astin's next film after the success of ''Evil Roy Slade'', another comedy Western. It was Charles Sellier's first successful feature film at the beginning his career as a producer, and also cinematographer Allen Daviau's first feature film. Synopsis Michael O'Toole (John Astin) is a roguish gambler and con artist running from a town after cheating at poker. His younger brother Timothy O'Toole (Steve Carlson) is a womanizer who romanced Bonnie Lou, the daughter of McClanahan, an angry father armed with a shotgun. The two brothers meet and find their way to a poor, sleepy Colorado mining town called Molybdenum (mispronounced " Molly B'Damn by the citizens), named when a passing geologist informed the town that nothing was left in the mine but worthless molybdenum after the lead had been mined out. Richard Erdman
Richard Erdman ( John Richard Erdmann; June 1, 1925 – March 16, 2019) was an American character actor and occasional film and television director. He appeared in more than 160 films and television productions between 1944 and 2017, mostly in supporting roles. He is most known for his roles in the classic films ''Stalag 17'' (1953) and ''Tora! Tora! Tora!'' (1970). In his final years, Erdman found renewed fame through his portrayal of Leonard in the critically acclaimed comedy series ''Community'' (2009–2015). Charles Edward Sellier Jr. (November 9, 1943 – January 31, 2011) was an American television producer, screenwriter, novelist and director, best known for creating the American book and television series ''The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams''. Buckskin Joe was a Western-style theme park and railway in Buckskin Joe, Colorado, United States, about west of Cañon City. Description The park was located south of U.S. Route 50 along the road to the Royal Gorge Bridge. Features of the park included gun fights, 30 authentic buildings from the Colorado 19th century frontier, themed entertainment, full service saloon and restaurant. There was also the Mystery House and a horse-drawn trolley ride. The town featured a donkey as the mayor. The mayor of Buckskin Joe resided in a small building and was allowed free range of the park.
