The Brig Society
''The Brig Society'' is a satirical stand-up and sketch comedy show hosted by Marcus Brigstocke. It was broadcast for the first time on BBC Radio 4 on Wednesday 26 June 2013 at 18:30. and a second series began on 1 August 2014, with the third series starting on 17 September 2015. Marcus Brigstocke
Marcus Alexander Brigstocke (born 8 May 1973) is a British comedian, actor and satirist. He has worked in stand-up comedy, television, radio and musical theatre. He has appeared on many BBC television and radio shows. Early life Brigstocke is the son of Nick Brigstocke, a stockbroker from a Welsh landed gentry family, and Carol, daughter of senior Royal Air Force officer Air Marshal Sir Walter Pretty. Rufus Jones (born 17 May 1975) is an English actor. Early life Jones was born in London, and educated at Latymer Upper School and the University of Cambridge, where he studied English. Career Jones began his career as one fifth of the comedy group Dutch Elm Conservatoire. William Andrews (comedian)
William Andrews (born 10 October 1977 in Salisbury, now Harare, in the former British colony of Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe) is a British actor and comedian. Andrews attended Edinburgh College of Art where he gained a Bachelor of Arts in Photography. He won The Tap water awards for character standup comedy in the 2003 Edinburgh Fringe Festival performing as Tony Carter, a luckless Geordie.
