The Black (American Band)
The Black is a rock band from Austin, Texas that formed in 2002 when singer/songwriter David Longoria began collaborating with drummer Andy Morales. The two were later joined by renowned guitarist Alan Schaefer (son of famous guitar maker Ed Schaefer) and Nick Moulos of the Austin band The Crackpipes. History Their full-length album ''Tanglewood'' was recorded in 2004 and released the spring of 2005 on their own record label K Woo. The band's next release, titled ''Donna'', was released in the summer of 2007. The chief members of the band are Jason Reece and Conrad Keely (formerly Conrad Sobsamai). The two alternate between drumming, guitar and lead vocals, both on recordings and live shows. The band is known for their wild, energetic concerts. Their eleventh studio album, ''XI: Bleed Here Now'', was released on July 15, 2022. History Formation Keely and Reece have been friends since their youth, and originally in Hawaii. They each formed their first bands in Olympia, Washington, where Keely studied at The Evergreen State College. Danny Wood
Daniel William Wood (born May 14, 1969) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and occasional actor. He is a member of the American boy band New Kids on the Block and also served as a choreographer for the band in late 80s and 90s. Career Wood is a member of the band New Kids on the Block (NKOTB). Biography Reece was born in Huntington Beach, CA to Patrick and Kathleen Reece. At an early age, Reece's family moved him and his younger brother, Cole, to the rural outskirts of Hilo, Hawaii. As a teenager, Reece's family moved again from Island of Hawaii, The Big Island to Oahu where he met Conrad Keely through a mutual friend, and they later both moved to Olympia, Washington, Olympia, WA where Keely attended college.
