Big Deal (band)
Big Deal were a pop/rock band composed of Kacey Underwood and Alice Costelloe. Underwood was raised near Yucca Valley in California while Costelloe came from an artistic household in London. They rose to prominence following the release of their second album ''June Gloom'' which received airplay on BBC 6Music in 2013. Support for the band from grass roots movements and Lauren Laverne of 6Music have seen the band invited to tour Europe with Depeche Mode in 2014. On 1 September 2016 they announced they had decided to break up. Lights Out 2011's Lights Out, a 12 track LP, is a collection of folk and grunge folk songs and recorded without a drum or bass track. Killer Dwarfs (stylized as KiLLeR DWaRfS) is a Canadian hard rock band that formed in late 1981 in Oshawa, Ontario, and enjoyed moderate success in their native Canada in the 1980s. The band is known for its offbeat sense of humour (all band members adopted the surname "Dwarf") and was nominated for two Juno Awards during its career. Killer Dwarfs were sometimes compared to NWOBHM acts such as Iron Maiden and Saxon. Black Drawing Chalks is a Brazilian rock band from Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, formed in 2005, by a group of graphic design students. History Black Drawing Chalks began with Victor Rocha and Douglas Castro, which were working and studying together, added to Castro’s brother, Denis, in 2005. By that time, Rocha used to share the vocal tracks with Marco Bauer, who decided to leave the band in 2007, after recording their first album. Bauer was replaced by Renato Cunha on the guitar. The name of the band refers to a German brand of writing tools. In 2007 they released their first album, ''Big Deal''. "Big Deal" (stylized as "BIG Deal") is a song written by Jeffrey Steele and Al Anderson and recorded by American country music artist LeAnn Rimes. The song was produced by her father Wilbur C. Rimes. It was released on September 7, 1999, as the lead single from her eponymous fourth studio album through Curb Records. It was also the only original song included in the album. ''Colour Blind'' is the second studio album by Canadian rock band Seaway and follow-up to 2013's ''Hoser''. Background and production In July 2014, it was announced that Seaway had signed a worldwide recording contract with California-based label Pure Noise. The band called the staff members at Pure Noise "some of the coolest, realest people" in the music industry. The group toured later in the year, before releasing the ''All in My Head'' EP in November. Alan Day of Four Year Strong and Derek Hoffman produced ''Colour Blind''. Hoffman engineered the recordings at Fox Sounds Studios. It was hosted by Mark DeCarlo and packaged by Stone-Stanley Productions, with swing group Big Bad Voodoo Daddy as the house band. Craig Bruce Reucassel is an Australian television and radio comedian. He is best known for being a member of satirical team The Chaser. He hosted the Australian version of ''Balls of Steel'', which premiered in April 2011. Since 2013, Reucassel and fellow Chaser Julian Morrow have been main presenters on the ABC program ''The Checkout''.
