Jack Kaiser Stadium, originally known as The Ballpark at St. John’s, is a baseball stadium located on the campus of St. John's University (New York City), St. John's University in the neighborhood of Hillcrest, Queens, Hillcrest near the neighborhoods of Jamaica, Queens, Jamaica and Fresh Meadows, Queens, Fresh Meadows in New York City. Formerly used by the now-defunct Queens Kings Minor League Baseball, minor league team in its inaugural season of 2000, it is currently used by the St. John's Red Storm baseball team. History After the 1999 season, the New York Mets purchased the St. Catharines Blue Jays, St. Catharines Stompers of the New York–Penn League, planning to move them from Ontario to Brooklyn. However, the stadium for the newly minted Brooklyn Cyclones would not be ready until 2001 (nor would their affiliation contract with the Toronto Blue Jays expire until then), so the Mets decided to "park" the franchise in Queens for the 2000 season, dubbing them the Queens Kings ...

Utopia Parkway is a major street in the New York City Borough (New York City), borough of Queens, New York, Queens. Starting in the neighborhood of Beechhurst, Queens, Beechhurst and ending in the Jamaica Estates, Queens, Jamaica Estates neighborhood, the street connects Cross Island Parkway and Northern Boulevard in the north to Union Turnpike (New York), Union Turnpike, Grand Central Parkway and Hillside Avenue in the south. History and naming Simon Freeman, Samuel Resler, and Joseph Fried incorporated the Utopia Land Company in 1903. The following year, the Utopia Land Company bought of land between the communities of Jamaica and Flushing. The Utopia Land Company intended to build a cooperative community for Jewish families interested in moving away from the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
