The Bachelorette (season 1)
The Bachelorette was the first season of ABC reality television series ''The Bachelorette''. The season premiered on January 8, 2003, and featured 29-year-old Trista Rehn, a pediatric physical therapist and former Miami Heat dancer from Indiana. Rehn was the runner-up from the first season of '' The Bachelor'' featuring Alex Michel. The season concluded on February 19, 2003, with Rehn accepting a proposal from 28-year-old firefighter Ryan Sutter. They married on December 6, 2003 in Santa Monica, California, and currently live in Vail, Colorado with their two children. Trista Nicole Sutter (née Rehn, born October 28, 1972) is an American television personality, physical therapist, and dancer who was the runner-up on season 1 of '' The Bachelor'' before becoming the star of the first season of its companion show, ''The Bachelorette''. Sutter has also appeared on ''Dancing with the Stars'' and ''Fear Factor''. Early life Sutter was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Attending Indiana University, she earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Sugarloaf Township is a township in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,879 at the 2020 census. History Present-day Sugarloaf Township was initially part of Newport Township (one of the original townships of Connecticut in Northeastern Pennsylvania). The first colonists established settlements close to the Susquehanna River and the territory that is now the Conyngham Valley remained virtually unchartered for quite some time. The world first heard of the Conyngham Valley after the Sugarloaf massacre of 1780 in which roughly ten Americans were killed by a group of Native Americans and perhaps a handful of loyalists. Jeff Popovich (born October 26, 1977) is an American football coach and former defensive back who is the special teams coordinator and cornerbacks coach for the Western Michigan Broncos. He also is a former model who appeared in the first season of ''The Bachelorette''. Playing career College playing career Popovich was a walk-on at the University of Miami who turned into a major contributor on special teams and in nickel packages on defense.
