The Azoic
The Azoic is an electronic music band that was formed in Columbus, Ohio in February 1996. History In October 1996, they received a record contract from Worm Records and released their first CD, ''The Divine Suffering'', in April 1997. Shawn left the band in early 1998 to pursue an alternate musical direction. Their second CD, ''Where Broken Angels Lie'', was released in May 1998 with Nilaihah Records, which was started by Kristy to promote talented, original electronic bands. ''Forward'', The Azoic's third CD, was released on Nilaihah Records in 2001. They also released thConflict EPin 2003 on Nilaihah Records and a video for the title track on YouTubeConflict Video. In 2003, the band signed a record deal throughout Europe with Infacted Recordings of Germany. Nilaihah Records
Nilaihah Records is an American independent record label based in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1999 by Kristy Venrick of The Azoic, after Oneiroid Psychosis asked her to release their next album. Since then, the label has signed acts spanning a variety of electronic music styles, such as Unheilig, The Azoic, and Frozen Plasma. The label formed a partnership with the German label Infacted, serving as the North American outlet for European bands like Ad Inferna, XP8, NamNamBulu, Conetik, Endanger, and Liquid Divine, signing them to distribution deals. The label had a joint venture with Infacted on ''Muscle and Hate'', a tribute to Nitzer Ebb featuring members of XP8 and Icon of Coil. Negative Format is an EBM/trance band formed by Alex Matheu in 1996. For live performances, the band includes Rashree and Brian Matson. In 2004, Alex created ''The Parallel Project'', an album combining his music with the vocals of other industrial artists, including Salva Maine, Sandrine Gouriou, Ned Kirby, Tom Shear, Rashree Matson, Daniel Myer, Jennifer Parkin, Clint Carney, Darrin Huss, Courtney Bangert, Victoria Lloyd, Mark Jackson, Kristy Venrick, and G. Interface (band)
Interface is an electronic music group based on Long Island, New York. It was founded in 1993 by Eric Eldredge (keyboards, sequences, and vocals). Its career has been lined with a steady output of songs and dance remixes for other artists and several lineup shifts. Each of its three albums to date display a blend of various styles of electronic music, most notably trance, synthpop, electro-industrial and aggrotech, with a strong sense of melody and songwriting. Band history The project became a serious entity when Eldredge left another group, Valve, in 1997. The band's inaugural lineup also included Joseph Destry (guitar, vocals) and Mike Cummings a/k/a DJ ANGZTEK (drums). In total Interface released four demo tapes between 1993 and 1998, with little interest from record labels or the music press. Distorted Reality is a synthpop band from Germany / United States. Band history Distorted Reality is the synthpop band formed in 1997 by a collaboration between Martha M. Arce from Miami, United States and Christian Kobusch from Bielefeld, Germany. Distorted Reality's debut album, ''The Fine Line Between Love and Hate'', was released on 17 May 2002, on Accession Records. The band produced the album along with Bruno Kramm from Das Ich. Cesium_137 is an American futurepop musical group composed of Isaac Glendening and Vince Guzzardo. It originally also included Matt Cargill. History The group's first release was the album ''Advanced/Decay'' in 2001 on Tonedeaf Records. Its style was electro-industrial. It gained widespread attention, particularly with the moody dance track "Regrets," which was also released as a single and became a danceclub hit. Soon after the September 11, 2001 attacks, Matt Cargill joined the U.S. military and was no longer available as a member of Cesium_137. Cesium_137 had a hiatus of three years before their next release. That release was ''Elemental'' in 2004; it was issued with Metropolis Records, a much more prominent label than Tonedeaf. Liquid Divine
A liquid is a nearly incompressible fluid that conforms to the shape of its container but retains a (nearly) constant volume independent of pressure. As such, it is one of the four fundamental states of matter (the others being solid, gas, and plasma), and is the only state with a definite volume but no fixed shape. A liquid is made up of tiny vibrating particles of matter, such as atoms, held together by intermolecular bonds. Like a gas, a liquid is able to flow and take the shape of a container. Most liquids resist compression, although others can be compressed. Unlike a gas, a liquid does not disperse to fill every space of a container, and maintains a fairly constant density. A distinctive property of the liquid state is surface tension, leading to wetting phenomena. Water is by far the most common liquid on Earth.
