The Audi Channel
The Audi Channel was a digital satellite television channel, launched in the UK in 2005 by the German car company Audi. It was broadcast free-to-air via Sky Digital, which is generally receivable in the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland (although the Sky Digital output is also receivable in many mainland European countries). The Audi Channel was broadcast in the 4:3 aspect ratio, in standard definition. History The channel was developed by advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, and made Audi the first advertiser in Europe to launch a self-promotional channel. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. The aspect ratio of an image is the ratio of its width to its height, and is expressed with two numbers separated by a colon, such as ''16:9'', sixteen-to-nine. Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters
The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM, German Touring Car Masters) is a grand touring car series sanctioned by ITR e.V. who have been affiliated to the DMSB-FIA since 1984. The series is based in Germany, with rounds elsewhere in Europe. The series currently races a modified version of Group GT3 grand touring cars, replacing the silhouette later Class 1 touring cars of earlier years. Test Drive
A test drive is the driving of a motor vehicle to assess its drivability or roadworthiness, and general operating state. A person who tests vehicles for a living, either for an automobile company, automotive media for review purposes, or a motorsports team, is called a test driver. Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) is a British global advertising agency.
