The Art Of Skiing
''The Art of Skiing'' is a Goofy cartoon made by Walt Disney Productions in 1941. It has historical significance as the first cartoon to use the now-famous Goofy holler, as well as the short that led to the "How to..." series, beginning with ''How to Play Baseball'' (1942) and continuing through ''How to Hook Up Your Home Theater'' (2007). Notes Goofy goes to Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, to learn how to ski. The name of the resort can be seen in the opening frames of the cartoon. Sugar Bowl Ski Resort was used because Walt Disney had an interest in the Sugar Bowl ski area, to the extent that one of the peaks at Sugar Bowl is named Mt. Disney after him. The narrator and the opening titles mention an alternate (and obscure) pronunciation of skiing as ''shee-ing'', despite the narrator mostly pronouncing it vice versa throughout the short. Jack Kinney
John Ryan Kinney (March 29, 1909 – February 9, 1992)Lenburg (2006), pp. 180 was an American animator, director and producer of animated shorts. Kinney is the older brother of fellow Disney animator Dick Kinney. Early life Jack Kinney was born on March 29, 1909, in Utah.Lenburg (2006), pp. 180 He attended John Muir Junior High School in Los Angeles, California (1925), and John C. Fremont High School (1926 - 1928), at the latter with Roy Williams. Both Fremont football players, they would later be hired by Walt Disney in 1930 to work at the Walt Disney Studio on Hyperion Avenue. Often referring to himself as Kinney's best friend, Williams would go on to star as the "Big Mooseketeer" with head Mouseketeer Jimmie Dodd on the classic 1950s television program, ''The Mickey Mouse Club'' (1955–1958). ''Mickey's Mouse Tracks'' is an American animated television series on The Disney Channel which ran from 1992 to 1995, and featured Disney cartoons and animated short films, dating from before the advent of The Disney Channel. A similar show was ''Donald's Quack Attack''. ''Olaf's Frozen Adventure'' is a 2017 American 3D computer-animated featurette produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and directed by Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers. ''Goofy's Fun House'' is a 2001 platform game released for the PlayStation. It focuses on the Disney character, Goofy. Synopsis Goofy must explore each part of his home, which consists of 15 distinct rooms. Each room includes elements, such as a blender in the kitchen or table saw in the garage, that the player can interact with. The main focus of play centers around collecting the 60 film canisters and certain objects, which Goofy has misplaced throughout his home. In addition to this, there are several mini-games that may be accessed via the paintings in the rec room of Goofy's house if the player finds all of the objects that are needed.
