The Android Invasion
''The Android Invasion'' is the fourth serial of the Doctor Who (season 13), thirteenth season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in four weekly parts on BBC One, BBC1 from 22 November to 13 December 1975. The serial is set on the planet Oseidon and in England. In the serial, the alien race the Kraals plot to wipe out humanity with a virus to prepare the Earth for their invasion. The serial was directed by former series producer Barry Letts and written by Terry Nation — his first ''Doctor Who'' script for eleven years not to feature his creations, the Daleks. Terry Nation
Terence Joseph Nation (8 August 19309 March 1997) was a British screenwriter and novelist. Especially known for his work in British television science fiction, he created the Daleks and Davros for ''Doctor Who'', as well as the series '' Survivors'' and ''Blake's 7''. Nation first made his name as a comedy writer before becoming a prolific writer for drama, working on many of the most popular British series of the 1960s and 1970s such as '' The Avengers'', '' The Baron'', ''The Champions'', '' Department S'', ''The Persuaders!'' and ''The Saint''.
