The Ancient Dogoo Girl
is a Japanese comedy tokusatsu series directed by Noboru Iguchi, director of ''The Machine Girl'' and '' RoboGeisha''. The show airs on MBS every Wednesday night at 25:25 JST. The ending theme is Denki Groove's . In October 2010, ''Dogoo Girl'' premiered its sequel . Plot By chance, a hikikomori named Makoto Sugihara finds a strange breastplate buried in the woods. Dogū
are small humanoid and animal figurines made during the later part of the Jōmon period (14,000–400 BC) of prehistoric Japan. ''Dogū'' come exclusively from the Jōmon period, and were no longer made by the following Yayoi period. There are various styles of ''dogū'', depending on the exhumation area and time period. The National Museum of Japanese History estimates that the total number of dogū is approximately 15,000, with The Japan Times placing the figure at approximately 18,000. ''Dogū'' were made across all of Japan, except Okinawa. Most of the ''dogū'' have been found in eastern Japan and it is rare to find one in western Japan. Takaya Kamikawa
is a Japanese stage, film, and television actor. Biography Kamikawa was born in Hachioji, Tokyo in 1965. He graduated from Hachioji-Kita high school in Tokyo. While studying economics in Chuo University, he acted in a minor theatrical group which was touring around Japan and performing at local schools. Kamikawa left Chuo University without a diploma, and joined the group Caramel Box to become a full-time actor. In 1995, Kamikawa starred in a TV drama by NHK, ''Daichi no Ko'', and played the leading role, Lu Yixin. The original author, Toyoko Yamasaki, initially wanted Masahiro Motoki to play the role. Yuki Saito ( ja, 斉藤 由貴, Saitō Yuki; born September 10, 1966 in Minami-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese actress, singer and narrator.
