FX (TV Channel)
FX is an American pay television channel owned by FX Networks, LLC, a subsidiary of the Disney General Entertainment Content unit of The Walt Disney Company. It is based at the Fox Studios lot in Century City, California. FX originally launched on June 1, 1994. The network's original programming aspires to the standards of premium cable channels in regard to mature themes and content, high-quality writing, directing and acting. Richard Thomas (actor)
Richard Earl Thomas (born June 13, 1951) is an American actor. He is best known for his leading role as budding author John-Boy Walton in the CBS drama series ''The Waltons'' for which he won an Emmy Award. He also received another Emmy nomination and two Golden Globe Award nominations, for that role. Thomas later starred in the 1990 television mini-series adaptation of Stephen King's epic horror novel '' It'', and played Special Agent Frank Gaad on FX's spy thriller series ''The Americans''.
