The Amazing Race Philippines
''The Amazing Race Philippines'' is a Philippine adventure reality game show based on the international ''Amazing Race'' franchise. Following the premise of other versions of the format, the show follows teams of two as they race across the Philippines. Each season is split into legs, with teams tasked to deduce clues, navigate themselves in foreign areas, interact with locals, perform physical and mental challenges, and travel by air, boat, car, taxi, and other modes of transport. Teams are progressively eliminated at the end of most legs for being the last to arrive at designated Pit Stops. The first team to arrive at the Finish Line wins the grand prize of ₱2 million. ''The Amazing Race Philippines 2'' is the second season of '' The Amazing Race Philippines''. It featured eleven teams of two, each in a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the Philippines. Derek Ramsay returned as the host of the show. The show premiered on October 6, 2014. It was first aired every Monday to Friday at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday at 9:00 p.m. ( PST) on TV5.
