The Album (Aunty Donna Album)
''The Album'' is the debut studio album from Australian comedy group Aunty Donna. It also served as the group's sixth webseries, with music videos being made for eight of the album's 16 tracks and uploaded to the group's YouTube channel. The album features guest appearances from comedians Demi Lardner, Michelle Brasier, Hamish Blake and Matt Okine; in addition to Australian pop singer Montaigne and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard guitarist Joey Walker. The album and accompanying web series were announced with the release of a trailer on 4 February 2018. The first single, "Chuffed (Dad Song)," was released four days later. The final single and video was "(Walking in on Someone) Doin' a Poo," which was released one week after ''The Album'' was released. Aunty Donna
Aunty Donna is an Australian surrealist comedy group formed in Melbourne in 2011. The group consists of performers and writers Mark Bonanno, Broden Kelly, and Zachary Ruane alongside writer and director Sam Lingham, director Max Miller, and composer Thomas Zahariou. Their work spans numerous live shows, a YouTube channel, a podcast, a studio album, the Netflix series ''Aunty Donna's Big Ol' House of Fun'', and the picture book ''Always Room for Christmas Pud''. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard are an Australian rock band formed in 2010 in Melbourne, Victoria. The band's current lineup consists of Stu Mackenzie, Ambrose Kenny-Smith, Cook Craig, Joey Walker, Lucas Harwood and Michael Cavanagh. They are known for exploring multiple genres, staging energetic live shows and building a prolific discography, having released 23 studio albums, 14 live albums, three compilations and three EPs. Samuel Jonathan McMillan (born 2 July 1983) is an Australian musical comedy, musical comedian, satirist, writer and radio presenter who performs under the stage name Sammy J. Joseph William Quinn Walker is an Australians, Australian musician, singer, and producer who is best known as being the lead guitarist for the band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. Walker was previously part of the electronic duo Trumpdisco (now SUB-human) and indie rock band Love Migrate. He also releases solo works under the name Bullant. Jessica Alyssa Cerro (born 14 August 1995), who performs as Montaigne, is an Australian art pop musician and Twitch streamer.
