The Abbey Road Sessions EP
''The Abbey Road Sessions'' is an extended play by English rock band Embrace. The EP was released in the form of a 2-CD set as a limited edition version of their single "My Weakness Is None of Your Business". The first CD came in a cardboard double gatefold CD sleeve and was available in record shops. In place of a second CD there was a card insert with the words: "Abbey Road Sessions Part 2 (for insertion into wallet) will be available later in the year details to follow". The second CD, Abbey Road Sessions Part 2, had three more tracks and was only available by mail order from the band. All the tracks were recorded live at Abbey Road Studios on 19 October 1997. Embrace are an English rock band formed in Bailiff Bridge, West Yorkshire, England, in 1990. The band consists of brothers singer Danny McNamara and guitarist Richard McNamara, bassist Steve Firth, keyboardist Mickey Dale, and drummer Mike Heaton. ''Drawn from Memory'' is the second album by English rock band Embrace, released on 27 March 2000 by Mobetta, Hut, and Virgin Records. Following the release of their debut studio album ''The Good Will Out'' (1998), touring keyboardist Mickey Dale became an official member. Frontman Danny McNamara began suffering from writer's block, leaving guitarist Richard McNamara to handle the writing. Sessions were done at Batsford Park Manor in Gloucestershire, Olympic Studios in London, and Soundworks Studios in Leeds. Tristin Norwell and the band producer the entire album, bar "You're Not Alone", which was produced by Hugo Nicolson. Songs on the album centred around the arrangements and the interplay between instruments, instead of being melody-driven. Abbey Road Studios (formerly EMI Recording Studios) is a recording studio at 3 Abbey Road, St John's Wood, City of Westminster, London, England. It was established in November 1931 by the Gramophone Company, a predecessor of British music company EMI, which owned it until Universal Music Group (UMG) took control of part of it in 2013. It is ultimately owned by UMG subsidiary Virgin Records Limited (until 2013 by EMI Records Limited, nowadays known as Parlophone Records and owned by UMG's competitor Warner Music Group). ''The Good Will Out'' is the debut studio album by British rock band Embrace, released on 8 June 1998, by Hut, Mobetta and Virgin Records.
