Thaçi (tribe)
Thaçi is a historical Albanian tribe (''fis'') and region in Pukë, Northern Albania. The ancestor of the Thaçi tribe are said to have come down Muriqan in Anamali in present day Montenegro. The Thaçi are often referred to as courageous and smart people by the neighboring tribes due to their supposed qualities of slyness and deception.  Geography The historical tribal area of the Thaçi is south of the Drin in the District of Pukë. essentially it is south and southeast of fierza. The Thaçi also border the Berisha which is also another tribe from Pukë. The Thaçi throughout the years have settled in many more areas than just Pukë. Descendants of the Thaçi tribe can be found in Kosovo and the Vokshi tribe stem from the Thaçi tribe. Albanian Tribe
The Albanian tribes ( sq, fiset shqiptare) form a historical mode of social organization (''farefisní'') in Albania and the southwestern Balkans characterized by a common culture, often common patrilineal kinship ties tracing back to one progenitor and shared social ties. The ''fis'' ( sq-definite, fisi; commonly translated as "tribe", also as "clan" or "kin" community) stands at the center of Albanian organization based on kinship relations, a concept which can be found among southern Albanians also with the term ''farë'' ( sq-definite, fara). Inherited from ancient Illyrian social structures, Albanian tribal society emerged in the early Middle Ages as the dominant form of social organization among Albanians. Pukë District
Pukë District () was one of the 36 districts of Albania, which were dissolved in July 2000 and replaced by 12 newly created counties. It had a population of 34,454 in 2001, and an area of . It is located in the north of the country and its capital was the town of Pukë. Its territory is now part of Shkodër County: the municipalities of Fushë-Arrëz and Pukë. Administrative divisions The district consisted of the following municipalities: * Blerim * Fierzë * Fushë-Arrëz * Gjegjan * Iballë *Pukë * Qafë-Mali *Qelëz *Qerret *Rrapë Rrapë is a village and a former municipality in the Shkodër County, northern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Pukë. The population at the 2011 census was 1,337.

Gjakova
Gjakova, ) and Đakovica ( sr-Cyrl, Ђаковица, ) is the seventh largest city of Kosovo and seat of Gjakova Municipality and Gjakova District. Kabashi
The Kabashi (the definite form of Kabash) are an Albanian tribe, or ''fis'', from the Pukë region. It is considered part of the "seven tribes of Puka" (Albanian: shtatë bajrakët e Pukës) that inhabit the region. Sulejman Vokshi
Sulejman Vokshi (1815 - 1890), also known as Sul Vokshi, was an Albanian military commander and a leader of the League of Prizren. As a member of the central committee of the league, particularly as the head of the finances commission, Vokshi was also an important leader of the organization's military branch and an officer of its military staff. Life Sulejman Vokshi was born in Gjakova to a patriotic Albanian family from Voksh in Kosovo. He participated in the Albanian Revolt of 1843-1844 against the Tanzimat reforms. Hashim Thaçi (; born 24 April 1968) is a Kosovar Albanian politician who was the president of Kosovo from April 2016 until his resignation on 5 November 2020 to face a war crimes tribunal.
