Thavibu Gallery
Thavibu Gallery (established in 1998) is an art gallery and art book publisher in Bangkok, Thailand. Since its founding, the gallery has followed the growth of contemporary art practices of Thailand, Vietnam and Burma and has showcased the art that best reflects the cultural identity of these countries. By exhibiting works of both senior established artists as well as upcoming talents, the gallery showcases art that is diverse and appealing to a broad audience. Specially curated exhibitions and documentation have enabled art enthusiasts an insight into the vibrant social environment of these three countries that are historically linked (though they have very different political and economic identities). An art gallery is a room or a building in which visual art is displayed. Nyein Chan Su, known as NCS ( my, ငြိမ်းချမ်းဆု; born 1973) is a Burmese painter. He showcases works inspired by nats, the spirits worshipped in central Burma alongside Buddhism. MPP Yei Myint
MPP Yei Myint ( my, ရဲမြင့်, ; also spelled Ye Myint; born 1953) is a Burma, Burmese artist. He was born in 1953 in Myingyan and studied at the State School of Fine Arts in Mandalay. Lun Gywe ( my, လွန်းကြွယ်, ; born 24 October 1930) is a Burma, Burmese painter who works in oil and watercolor. Outside of Myanmar his work has been exhibited, often in solo shows, in Japan, the Republic of Korea, the People's Republic of China, Australia, New York City, the Republic of Singapore.
