''That Don't Make Me a Bad Guy'' is the twelfth studio album by American country music artist Toby Keith. It was released on October 28, 2008 by Show Dog Nashville, Keith's own label. The album's lead-off single, "She Never Cried in Front of Me", reached number one on the US ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart in late October 2008, as did "God Love Her", the second single, in March 2009. The third single, " Lost You Anyway", was released on March 16, 2009. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA. Keith wrote or co-wrote all the songs on this album, collaborating with Bobby Pinson on all but three. Bobby Olen Pinson (born August 10, 1972) is an American country music artist. Signed to RCA Nashville in 2005, Pinson made his debut that year with his album ''Man Like Me''. Kenneth S. "Kenny" Greenberg is an American guitarist, songwriter, producer, and session musician. He is known for bringing a rock-and-roll sensibility to Nashville recording sessions. Dobro is an American brand of resonator guitars, currently owned by Gibson and manufactured by its subsidiary Epiphone. The term "dobro" is also used as a generic term for any wood-bodied, single-cone resonator guitar. A steel guitar ( haw, kīkākila) is any guitar played while moving a steel bar or similar hard object against plucked strings. The bar itself is called a "steel" and is the source of the name "steel guitar". The instrument differs from a conventional guitar in that it is played without using frets; conceptually, it is somewhat akin to playing a guitar with one finger (the bar). Paul V. Franklin (born May 31, 1954) is an American multi-instrumentalist, known mainly for his work as a steel guitarist. He began his career in the 1970s as a member of Barbara Mandrell's road band; in addition he toured with Vince Gill, Mel Tillis, Jerry Reed and Dire Straits. He has since become a prolific session musician in Nashville, playing on more than 500 albums. He has been named by the Academy of Country Music as Best Steel Guitarist on several occasions.
