Kenny Greenberg
Kenneth S. "Kenny" Greenberg is an American guitarist, songwriter, producer, and session musician. He is known for bringing a rock-and-roll sensibility to Nashville recording sessions. Biography Greenberg was born in Cleveland, Ohio but attended junior high and high school in Louisville, Kentucky. He moved to Nashville at age 21 to play guitar professionally, initially playing on demos and then recording sessions. Tony Brown was instrumental in helping Greenberg break into production and session work. Greenberg has worked with Taylor Swift, Amy Grant, Brooks & Dunn, Gretchen Wilson, Willie Nelson, Jewel, Wynonna Judd, Lee Ann Womack, Toby Keith, Trisha Yearwood, Montgomery Gentry, Peter Cetera, Faith Hill, Cyndi Lauper, and other artists. ''Play Me Backwards'' is an album by the American musician Joan Baez, released in 1992. The album was nominated for a Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Recording. Baez supported it with an international tour. In 2012, to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the album's original release, ''Play Me Backwards'' was reissued, digitally remastered, and including new liner notes; three bonus tracks—recorded during the original sessions, but not included on the original release—were included: " The Trouble With the Truth", "Medicine Wheel" and a cover of Bob Dylan's " Seven Curses". ''The Hardest Part'' is the second album by singer/songwriter Allison Moorer. The album is a concept album about a doomed relationship produced and co-written by Moorer's then husband Doyle Lee Primm. The album is based on her parents' relationship which ended in the mid-1980s when Moorer's father murdered her mother before killing himself. She told No Depression magazine in 2000: "This record was inspired by the things I saw my mother go through. It’s not the true story, but it’s inspired by the true story." The Mavericks (2003 Album)
''The Mavericks'' is the sixth studio album by the American country music band The Mavericks. It was their only release for Sanctuary Records, and their first studio album since '' Trampoline'' in 1998. The album produced three singles in "I Want to Know", "Would You Believe" and a cover version of "The Air That I Breathe", which was made famous by The Hollies. The latter was the only single to enter the charts, peaking at number 59 on ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs). ''The Mavericks'' was the band's final studio album before they disbanded in 2003. The Mavericks
The Mavericks are an American country music band from Miami, Florida. The band consists of Raul Malo (lead vocals, guitar), Paul Deakin (drums), Eddie Perez (lead guitar), and Jerry Dale McFadden (keyboards). Malo and Deakin founded the band in 1989 along with Robert Reynolds (bass guitar) and Ben Peeler (lead guitar). After one independent album, the band was signed by MCA Nashville Records and David Lee Holt replaced Peeler on lead guitar; he would be replaced by Nick Kane shortly after their second MCA album and third overall 1994's '' What a Crying Shame''. The band recorded a total of four albums for MCA and one for Mercury Records before disbanding in 2000. They reunited for one album in 2003 on Sanctuary Records, by which point Perez had become their fourth guitarist, and former touring keyboardist Jerry Dale McFadden became an official fifth member. ''Thunder & Roses'' is the seventh studio album by American country music artist Pam Tillis. It was released on March 6, 2001 by Arista Nashville. Pamela Yvonne Tillis (born July 24, 1957) is an American country music singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. She is the daughter of country music singer Mel Tillis and ex-wife of songwriter Bob DiPiero. Tillis recorded unsuccessful pop material for Elektra and Warner Records in the 1980s before shifting to country music. In 1989, she had signed to Arista Nashville, entering Top 40 on Hot Country Songs for the first time with "Don't Tell Me What to Do" in 1990. Robert Clark Seger ( ; born May 6, 1945) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician.
