Tharcisse Gashaka (born 18 December 1962) is a Burundian athlete who specialized in marathon and long-distance running. Gashaka competed in the marathon for Burundi in their country's first Olympics at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where he finished 90th, with a time of 2:32:55. The marathon is a long-distance foot race with a distance of , usually run as a road race, but the distance can be covered on trail routes. Long-distance running, or endurance running, is a form of continuous running over distances of at least .
