The Sri Lanka women's national cricket team represents Sri Lanka in international women's cricket. One of eight teams competing in the ICC Women's Championship (the highest level of the sport), the team is organised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). In cricket, batting is the act or skill of hitting the ball with a bat to score runs and prevent the loss of one's wicket.
