''Thank You Berty'' ( si, තෑන්ක් යු බර්ටි) is a 2010 Sinhalese language Sri Lankan action comedy film written by Tennyson Cooray as his directorial debut and starring a number of Sri Lankan comedians, including Bandu Samarasinghe, Dilhani Ekanayake, Ananda Wickramage, Mahendra Perera, Anusha Damayanthi, Nilanthi Dias, and Cletus Mendis. The film had its world premiere August 7, 2010, in Melbourne, Australia. Plot Berty the middle aged bachelor’s life changes when he meets Sanda a nursery school teacher, who hails from a very rich family. Merengnnage Edward Tennyson Cooray (සිංහල: මෙරෙඤඤගේ එඩ්වඩ් ටෙනිසන් කුරේ) (30 April 1952 – 28 September 2020) was an actor and comedian in Sri Lankan cinema and theater.
