Thandiwe Helen Phoenix (born 5 September 1993), better known by her stage name Thandi Phoenix, is an Australian singer-songwriter from Newtown in Inner Sydney. Thandi is half South African. Career Thandi Phoenix has performed at festivals such as Spilt Milk, Splendour in the Grass, Byron Bay Bluesfest and Womadelaide. Regan Mathews, better known by his stage name Ta-ku, is an Australian musician, producer and photographer. Life and career Mathews was born and raised in the Australian city of Perth. He is half-Filipino, half-Māori. Mathews attended high school at John Curtin High School. Before he decided to focus on music, Mathews held a sales job at Medibank for five years. Mathews' stage name "Ta-ku" is a nod to his Māori heritage. Sigma are a British drum and bass DJ and record production duo consisting of Cameron James "Cam" Edwards and Joseph Aluin "Joe" Lenzie. They met at Leeds University at drum and bass nights.
