Thaali (1997 Film)
''Thaali'' () is a 1997 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by Maganti Venkateswara Rao under the MRC Movie Creations banner and directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana. It stars Srikanth, Swetha, Sneha and Swathi, with music composed by Vidyasagar. The film was a box office hit. Plot The film begins with Bose Babu (Srikanth) a wealthy person in a village who is a tough nut to his opponent Kota (Kota Srinivasa Rao). So, for a thwart, Kota plans to couple up his daughter Swathi (Swathi) with Bose Babu. At that moment, he knows that Bose Babu's alliance is already fixed with his father's close friend Ramaraju's (Murali Mohan) daughter Sneha (Sneha). Posani Krishna Murali
Posani Krishna Murali (born 22 January 1958) is an Indian screenwriter, actor, director and producer who primarily works in Telugu cinema. He worked as a writer for over 150 Telugu films and directed a number of films. In 2009, he also contested in Andhra Pradesh state legislative assembly elections from Chilakaluripet constituency but lost the elections. Early life and education Posani was born on 22 January 1958 in Pedakakani, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry (born Chembolu Seetharama Sastry; 20 May 1955 – 30 November 2021) was an Indian poet and lyricist known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acquired the stage name Sirivennela after writing the lyrics for K. Viswanath's directorial film of Sirivennela, the same name in 1986. Sastry has garnered several awards including eleven state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist, Nandi Awards and four Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist – Telugu, Filmfare Awards South for his work. He has penned lyrics for over 3000 songs until 2020. In 2019, he was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India, for his contributions towards the field of arts and aesthetics.
